A healthcare professional with a strong background in Cardiovascular Operating Room technology is sought for a contract position in Medina, OH. This role requires hands-on expertise in scrub techniques, specifically within open heart procedures, to support critical surgical teams efficiently.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience as a CVOR Tech.
• Proven scrub experience coupled with specific experience in open heart procedures.
• Ability to provide documented references from recent managers, supervisors, or directors within the specialty area.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Willingness to work 1-2 weekday call shifts and a full weekend call every six weeks, including 24-hour shifts both Saturday and Sunday.
• Commitment to work at least every other holiday.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams by maintaining sterile fields and managing surgical instruments during cardiovascular procedures.
• Participate in complex open heart surgeries requiring specialized scrub skills.
• Respond promptly to call schedules and be available for critical cases during assigned shifts.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams to maintain high standards of patient care.

Shift and Schedule:

• Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 17:30).
• Rotational call shifts including weekend coverage.
