Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician to support a reputable medical facility in Massillon, OH. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply your specialized skills in a dynamic surgical environment focused on cardiac procedures. Candidates must demonstrate strong expertise in scrub duties and open heart surgery support to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent CVOR Tech experience
- Proficient in scrub techniques, including open heart procedures
- Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and pass required competency assessments
- Recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in CVOR specialty
- Prepared to work 1-2 weekday call shifts and 1 full weekend (24-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday) every 6 weeks
- Willingness to work at least every other holiday as part of the schedule

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment within the cardiovascular operating room
- Assist surgeons during routine and complex cardiac procedures, including open heart surgeries
- Monitor and maintain surgical instruments and supplies during procedures
- Collaborate effectively with surgical team members to optimize patient care
- Complete required competency tests during orientation to validate skills and knowledge
Schedule:
- Day shifts, 4x10 hours (07:00 AM 5:30 PM)
- Includes weekday call and every 6-week weekend 24-hour coverage
