Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Competency in operating, troubleshooting, and preparing complex surgical and monitoring equipment
• In-depth understanding of aseptic technique and rigorous infection control standards
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and organization skills
• Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist with experience specifically in cardiovascular surgery preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and nurses throughout cardiovascular procedures by anticipating needs, handling surgical instruments, and maintaining a sterile field
• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are present and functioning optimally
• Monitor and maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols during all stages of a procedure
• Collaborate closely with surgical, anesthesiology, and nursing staff to support optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure accurate documentation related to procedures and patient care activities
