Participating in this assignment enables you to collaborate with cardiovascular surgery professionals on high-acuity heart cases, utilizing advanced equipment like Stryker and GE technology. Key Details:
- Schedule: Weekday shifts, 7:00 am 5:00 pm
- Call: Required (specifics discussed during interview)
- No weekends
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in cardiovascular surgery
- Flexible, confident, and highly collaborative team player
- Proficient in procedures such as CABG, AAA, Valve Replacement, TAVR
- Willingness to float to support nearby campuses as needed
Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiovascular surgical teams (3-member day teams; 2-member night teams) in a fast-paced, high-stakes OR environment
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and sterile environment
- Collaborate efficiently with RNs and CSTs, prioritizing patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Utilize EMR (Meditech) for accurate documentation
- Adapt seamlessly to evolving staffing needs and procedural priorities
