Job Description

Step into a challenging and rewarding environment specializing in cardiovascular procedures as a skilled professional in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). This contract role focuses on supporting a high-acuity unit, demanding expertise and precision.

Schedule & Hours:

  • 4x10 hour shifts per week (GWW40)
  • Day shift: 06451715
  • Immediate start
  • 13-week contract

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a CVOR Tech, preferably in a trauma facility
  • Minimum 1 year of travel assignment experience preferred
  • Strong background in Open Heart/CVOR, trauma, orthopedic, and robotics cases
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a surgical team
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Skills checklist completion required upon application

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical support to surgical teams during cardiovascular, trauma, orthopedic, and robotic procedures
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety protocols
  • Prepare and set up operating rooms, equipment, and instruments
  • Monitor and anticipate the needs of surgeons and other team members during operations
  • Participate in weekday, weekend, holiday, and night call rotations as required
  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
