This opportunity is designed for skilled professionals eager to further develop their expertise in CardioVascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. Working alongside outstanding clinicians, youll broaden your experience, gain exposure to different leadership styles, and strengthen your resume while providing essential care in a dynamic surgical environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
- On call rotation
Key Qualifications:
- Active certification as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA or NCCT
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech or in perioperative patient care
- Expertise in surgical technology, instrumentation, and sterile technique
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide proficient perioperative patient care in the CVOR
- Serve as a scrub assistant during cardiovascular procedures, supporting physicians
- Employ advanced knowledge of equipment and instrumentation
- Collaborate with the surgical team under the guidance of a Registered Nurse
- Mentor and assist other staff members as a role model and resource
