Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current certification or registration as a CVOR Tech/nurse
- BLS and ACLS certifications (as required for role)
- Hospital-based CVOR experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to various surgical protocols and fast-paced environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical teams during cardiovascular operations with setup and intraoperative support
- Maintain sterile environments and manage surgical instruments and supplies
- Evaluate equipment and report maintenance needs
- Support surgeons and RNs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Follow hospital and regulatory protocols for safety and documentation
