Bring your specialized expertise as a CVOR Tech to an established healthcare environment, where your skills will directly support exceptional cardiovascular surgical care. As a critical team member within the cardiovascular operating room, youll work alongside experienced surgical teams to ensure every procedure runs smoothly and safely.

Qualifications:

• Current CVOR Tech certification or equivalent required
• Previous experience assisting in cardiovascular operating rooms preferred
• Thorough knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain composed under pressure
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other clinical staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for complex CVOR procedures
• Ensure all required instruments, supplies, and equipment are properly sterilized, available, and functioning
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs
• Maintain accurate counts of surgical tools and sponges according to hospital protocol
• Support patient safety by adhering to all infection control standards
• Participate in room turnover and post-procedure clean-up
