Schedule/Hours:

• 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
• On-call rotation required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver proficient perioperative patient care with specialized equipment and instrumentation in the Cardiovascular Operating Room.
• Function as a skilled scrub assistant for physicians during operative and invasive procedures.
• Operate under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and adhere to standards outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory.
• Use expertise to mentor and serve as a resource for other staff members, enhancing team knowledge and efficiency.
• Ensure all surgical equipment and instruments are prepared, maintained, and properly utilized.

Qualifications:

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Certification as a Surgical Technologist through NBSTSA or NCCT.
• Previous experience in CVOR or operating room setting highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
