Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent
  • Active BLS and additional relevant credentials
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent CVOR surgical tech experience, preferably in a high-acuity setting
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular and operating room protocols
  • Ability to remain organized and focused in high-pressure, fast-paced surgical environments
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cardiovascular OR suites, ensuring all necessary instruments and sterile supplies are available
  • Assist surgical teams during complex cardiovascular procedures, anticipating needs of surgeons and nurses
  • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques to safeguard patient safety
  • Manage and troubleshoot specialized equipment used in CVOR cases
  • Accurately document procedures, supply usage, and patient data
  • Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
