Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent
- Active BLS and additional relevant credentials
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent CVOR surgical tech experience, preferably in a high-acuity setting
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular and operating room protocols
- Ability to remain organized and focused in high-pressure, fast-paced surgical environments
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cardiovascular OR suites, ensuring all necessary instruments and sterile supplies are available
- Assist surgical teams during complex cardiovascular procedures, anticipating needs of surgeons and nurses
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques to safeguard patient safety
- Manage and troubleshoot specialized equipment used in CVOR cases
- Accurately document procedures, supply usage, and patient data
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
