Job Description

A specialized opportunity is available for a skilled Nursing professional with expertise in CVOR tech. This role demands precision, technical knowledge, and the ability to support complex cardiovascular operating room procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist cardiovascular surgeons and medical staff during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and the CVOR environment to meet stringent sterility and safety standards.
  • Monitor patients vital signs and assist with patient positioning for optimal surgical access.
  • Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and equipment use.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience as a CVOR technician or similar nursing role in cardiovascular operating rooms.
  • In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and technology.
  • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Relevant certifications and training in perioperative nursing or cardiovascular technology preferred.

Contract Details:

  • This is a contract position with potential for extension based on performance and facility needs.
