This role places you within a busy operating room setting, boasting 14 OR suites and a skilled team dedicated to a seamless patient experience. Exposure to advanced proceduresincluding neuro, transplant, and complex orthopedic surgerieslets you accelerate your career and add valuable experiences to your resume.
Schedule
- 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Flexibility required for day/evening coverage and on-call shifts
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of recent acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- NBSTA and DORA certifications (must be obtained prior to starting)
- Demonstrated experience in Orthopedics/Joints
- Preferred: Level I trauma background and Meditech EMR familiarity
- Team-player mentality, self-motivation, and strong accountability
Key Responsibilities
- Support the perioperative team in high acuity surgical cases
- Set up, operate, and maintain specialized surgical equipment
- Ensure sterile technique and anticipate the surgical teams needs
- Contribute to best practices for patient safety and staff collaboration
