This role places you within a busy operating room setting, boasting 14 OR suites and a skilled team dedicated to a seamless patient experience. As a member of this group, you'll engage with seasoned professionals, broadening your expertise alongside leaders with diverse backgrounds. Exposure to advanced proceduresincluding neuro, transplant, and complex orthopedic surgerieslets you accelerate your career and add valuable experiences to your resume.

Schedule

  • 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
  • Flexibility required for day/evening coverage and on-call shifts

Desired Qualifications

  • At least one year of recent acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • NBSTA and DORA certifications (must be obtained prior to starting)
  • Demonstrated experience in Orthopedics/Joints
  • Preferred: Level I trauma background and Meditech EMR familiarity
  • Team-player mentality, self-motivation, and strong accountability

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the perioperative team in high acuity surgical cases
  • Set up, operate, and maintain specialized surgical equipment
  • Ensure sterile technique and anticipate the surgical teams needs
  • Contribute to best practices for patient safety and staff collaboration
