Working as a vital member of the OR Heart Team, youll be immersed in a fast-paced environment, using advanced technology such as Stryker and GE equipment, and further honing your skills on complex procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to diversify your resume, work alongside top professionals, and expand your expertise in cardiovascular surgical care.

Schedule:

  • Weekday shifts: 7:00 am 5:00 pm
  • Call is required and will be discussed during the interview process
  • No weekend requirement

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in cardiovascular surgery
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a strong CVOR background
  • Adaptable, confident, and committed to teamwork
  • Ability to float between campuses as needed
  • Experience with procedures such as CABG, AAA repair, valve replacements, and TAVR
  • Familiar with Meditech electronic medical records system

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and RNs in cardiovascular procedures within the operating room
  • Maintain a sterile field and handle specialized equipment
  • Provide optimal patient care with a 1:1 patient ratio
  • Uphold the highest standards for infection control and surgical safety
  • Support surgical services across affiliated campuses as operational needs change
