An opportunity is available for an experienced CVOR Technician to support a dynamic surgical team in Eden Prairie, MN. This role requires a confident professional with a strong background in Neuro cases and the ability to manage diverse orthopedic and vascular procedures in the OR setting. The position is contract-based, ideal for those seeking flexible hours with varied start times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the surgical environment for Neuro, orthopedic, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular cases
  • Assist surgical teams during procedures, ensuring optimal instrument handling and patient safety
  • Operate specialized equipment, including Da Vinci robotic systems and Epic software, contributing to efficient and precise surgeries
  • Collaborate within the OR team, floating as necessary between different surgical specialties
  • Adhere to sterile techniques and hospital protocols during all activities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CVOR Tech, with strong focus on Neuro surgical procedures
  • Certification through NBSTSA or NCCT, active and current at the time of application
  • Proficiency with orthopedic trauma cases, joint support, and peripheral vascular surgeries highly preferred
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical records and Da Vinci surgical systems a plus
  • Ability to work weekend shifts and float within the OR as needed
  • Availability for 10-hour shifts with rotating start times from early morning to mid-afternoon
