Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Certification or graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience required
• Previous experience assisting in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures strongly preferred
• Proven track record as a CVOR Tech with expertise in setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CVOR instruments and equipment
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Detail-oriented and adaptable to rapidly changing surgical scenarios

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare CVOR suites and ensure all necessary instruments and sterile supplies are available and functioning
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular surgeries, anticipating needs and efficiently providing instruments and materials
• Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and sterile field protocols
• Accurately document procedures, instrument use, and maintain case cart setups
• Collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, and anesthesia personnel for optimal patient care
• Participate in pre- and post-procedure room turnover and equipment sterilization processes
• Remain up-to-date on best practices and continuously strive to improve service delivery

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
