With 14 modern operating rooms and the latest technology, youll work with seasoned staff, including a dedicated trauma team, all while expanding your surgical and emergency experience. Each shift brings exposure to a variety of proceduresneuro, transplant, ortho, and spineenhancing your expertise and refining your skills.
Expect to collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals and experience leadership styles that will broaden your perspective, supporting your ongoing professional growth in acute care settings. This assignment is ideal for someone who values teamwork, accountability, and self-direction.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Flexibility for day/evening hours as needed
- Call required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience as a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- NBSTA and DORA certifications required prior to start
- Proven experience in Ortho/Joint surgical procedures
- Strongly preferred: Level I trauma and prior Meditech EMR experience
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during complex cardiovascular, neuro, transplant, ortho/spine, and trauma procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and uphold safety standards
- Communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Adapt quickly to schedule changes and emergent situations
