Schedule/Hours:
- Days: 4 ten-hour shifts weekly, MondayFriday (specific days set upon arrival)
- Shift Time: 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
- On-Call: 11 shifts/month (including nights and weekends)
Working alongside respected professionals, you will gain exposure to a diversity of workplace practices, surgical protocols, and leadership styles. This enables you to build your resume with significant CVOR experience while collaborating with new teams and adapting to differing approaches in acute care.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification
- NBSTSA certification required
- Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program
- Minimum 2+ years as a CVOR surgical technologist (first & second scrub duties)
- Prior travel experience required
- Must reside at least 100 miles away from Dayton, NV
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surgical rooms and supplies, and anticipate procedural needs
- Assist in surgical field, instrument handling, and procedure support
- Perform patient positioning, transport, and room turnover
- Maintain confidentiality and prioritize patient privacy and respect
- Conduct instrument, sponge, and sharp counts with RN in accordance with policy
