Key Details:
- Schedule: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
- Includes on-call rotation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver proficient perioperative care and maintain sterile environments for complex cardiovascular procedures
- Serve as a scrub assistant during operative/invasive interventions, ensuring optimal equipment use and patient safety
- Support surgical teams by preparing, passing, and managing instruments
- Model best practices and act as a resource for fellow surgical staff
- Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, adhering to established protocols and utilizing comprehensive surgical technologist skills
Required Qualifications:
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current Surgical Technologist certification via NBSTSA or NCCT
- Demonstrated expertise in CVOR or related surgical settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced, team-driven environments
