Step into a vital role supporting cardiovascular surgeries as a Circulating and Scrub CVOR Tech. In this position, you will play an integral part on the operating team, ensuring surgical suites are prepared and that patients receive precise, high-quality care throughout their procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a CVOR Tech or within the cardiovascular operating room setting
• Familiarity with sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Proficiency as both a circulator and scrub tech in cardiac surgery cases
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and ancillary staff
• Detail-oriented with the ability to anticipate surgical team needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures
• Assist the surgical team as a scrub or circulating tech during complex cardiac operations
• Handle and prepare surgical instruments and supplies
• Monitor and manage operative supplies and equipment to ensure smooth workflow
• Support patient safety protocols and infection prevention measures
• Accurately document intraoperative activities and patient information
• Facilitate efficient turnover between cases
