Qualifications:
- Current certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent surgical technologist credentials
- Previous experience in a CVOR or similar operating room setting preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of sterile techniques and instrumentation for cardiovascular surgical cases
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and RNs with all aspects of cardiovascular and vascular operating room procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready
- Monitor, anticipate, and respond to surgeon and team needs throughout procedures
- Adhere strictly to infection control and patient safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate across interdisciplinary teams
