Working here, youll collaborate within a high-performing surgical team and broaden your expertise through exposure to a wide range of cases, from advanced cardiothoracic procedures to cutting-edge robotic surgeries. Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation: Facility and unit-based, five 8-hour shifts for the first week (Main OR) or two weeks (CVOR).
- 13 operating rooms and an additional procedure room; average 45 cases per day.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of recent OR experience in related specialty (CVOR, CST, RN).
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program is required.
- BLS Certification is mandatory.
- Strong, recent experience with CABG, TAVR, vascular, and thoracic cases.
- Comfort scrubbing a variety of cases: orthopedic, general, robotic, GYN, breast, spine, colon, podiatry, plastic, and urology.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and sterile fields for complex procedures.
- Work closely with surgeons and fellow staff in both main OR and CVOR settings.
- Ensure patient safety, assist with patient positioning, and participate in room turnover.
- Adapt to various technology including EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell med dispensing.
