Schedule/Hours:

• Orientation: Facility and unit-based, five 8-hour shifts for the first week (Main OR) or two weeks (CVOR).
• 13 operating rooms and an additional procedure room; average 45 cases per day.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of recent OR experience in related specialty (CVOR, CST, RN).
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program is required.
• BLS Certification is mandatory.
• Strong, recent experience with CABG, TAVR, vascular, and thoracic cases.
• Comfort scrubbing a variety of cases: orthopedic, general, robotic, GYN, breast, spine, colon, podiatry, plastic, and urology.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and sterile fields for complex procedures.
• Work closely with surgeons and fellow staff in both main OR and CVOR settings.
• Ensure patient safety, assist with patient positioning, and participate in room turnover.
• Adapt to various technology including EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell med dispensing.
