Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification or licensure as a CVOR Tech
• Proven experience assisting in cardiovascular or open-heart surgeries
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile field protocols, and safety procedures
• Ability to collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, RNs, and physicians
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving abilities in emergent and routine scenarios

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment for cardiovascular cases
• Ensure sterile techniques throughout all procedures
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by providing necessary instruments and maintaining equipment functionality
• Monitor and respond efficiently to the needs of the surgical team during operations
• Manage and track supplies, ensuring timely availability and inventory accuracy
• Contribute to pre- and post-operative room setup and breakdown, supporting overall OR efficiency
• Adhere strictly to patient safety and infection control standards at all times
