Job Description

Join a healthcare team in Burnsville, MN, seeking an experienced CVOR Technician to provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of surgical specialties, focusing primarily on neuro cases. Candidates must be prepared to deliver high-quality perioperative support, demonstrating expertise in neurosurgery alongside orthopedic and vascular procedures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CVOR Tech, with strong neuro surgical background
  • Proficiency in Epic electronic health records, Da Vinci surgical system, and general OR skillsets
  • Experience with orthopedic trauma, total joint replacements, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular cases preferred
  • Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification required at the time of application
  • Ability to float within the operating room as needed

Schedule/Hours:

  • 10-hour shifts, day or evening rotations
  • Variable start times: 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, or 3:00 PM
  • Weekend and holiday coverage on an as-needed basis
  • No on-call responsibilities

This opportunity is ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic surgical environment and desire exposure to neuro-specific cases. New graduates will not be considered for this role. Contract duration is flexible but requires availability for at least one week of return-to-work assignments as specified.
