Advance your clinical expertise by supporting cardiovascular surgical teams as a CVOR Tech in a fast-paced surgical environment. This contract role offers you the chance to collaborate alongside skilled surgeons and nurses, contributing directly to patient care during complex cardiac and vascular procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have proven experience as a CVOR Tech or in a similar perioperative support role
• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program preferred
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) highly desired
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS certification is a plus
• Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and cardiac surgery procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure situations and maintain strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, sponges, and other sterile supplies during cardiac and vascular cases
• Ensure proper setup, usage, and maintenance of surgical equipment required for CVOR cases
• Monitor and enforce sterile field practices to prevent infection
• Inventory and manage surgical supplies throughout procedures
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to facilitate efficient workflow
• Support room turnover and documentation as needed
