As a CVOR Tech, you'll work within a busy surgical team, gaining valuable experience in a large, fast-paced hospital setting. This opportunity allows you to engage with a dynamic group of healthcare professionals, broadening your perspective on various workplace techniques and leadership styles. Schedule/Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Day shifts
- Rotating call on weekends
Qualifications:
- Certification as Surgical Technologist (CST) or Military Trained accepted
- BLS certification required
- Previous experience as a CVOR Tech strongly preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures in the operating room
- Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, RNs, and other techs
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly when required
