Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent CVOR Tech credentials required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of current CVOR experience
- Proficiency in scrubbing on cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
- Familiarity with CVOR instrumentation, equipment operation, and sterile techniques
- Strong communication, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and the CVOR team by preparing and maintaining a sterile field during procedures
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure a smooth workflow
- Handle, prepare, and account for instruments and supplies
- Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols
- Support efficient operating room turnover between cases
- Communicate effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
