Now Hiring: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) For Next School Year In Sausalito, CA
 

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to become part of our team. Under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will assist in assessing, treating, and managing communication disorders for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

  • Aid the SLP in conducting speech and language screenings.
  • Execute treatment plans designed by the SLP.
  • Provide direct therapy services to individuals and groups.
  • Track and document patient progress.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies to enhance communication.
  • Prepare materials and maintain equipment for therapy sessions.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Preferred experience working with children and/or adults with communication disorders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
