Now Hiring: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) For Next School Year In Sausalito, CA

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to become part of our team. Under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will assist in assessing, treating, and managing communication disorders for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

Aid the SLP in conducting speech and language screenings.
Execute treatment plans designed by the SLP.
Provide direct therapy services to individuals and groups.
Track and document patient progress.
Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies to enhance communication.
Prepare materials and maintain equipment for therapy sessions.
Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
Preferred experience working with children and/or adults with communication disorders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
