Job Description

Sunbelt is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a rewarding full-time position in a school-based setting near Braidwood, Illinois, starting in the 2024-2025 school year. Position Details:

Location: Near Braidwood, Illinois
Start Date: 2024-2025 School Year
Caseload: K-4th Grade
Employment Type: Full-Time, 35 hours per week

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) Certificate

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals
Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' education plans

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
