Job Title: Travel Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract Position
Location: Las Cruces, NM

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for a travel contract position in home health care in the charming city of Las Cruces, NM. Position Details:

Duration: 8-13 weeks, with potential for extension
Shifts: Variable shifts available
Pay: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications

Requirements:

Active New Mexico RN license or ability to obtain licensure in NM
Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health care
Proficiency with OASIS assessment documentation with a 24-hour turnaround time
Reliable transportation and active car insurance
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, emphasizing holistic assessment, patient education, and care coordination.
Conduct OASIS assessments with a 24-hour turnaround time, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans and achieve optimal health outcomes.
Perform skilled nursing interventions, medication management, wound care, and symptom management as prescribed.
Utilize telehealth technology and communication tools to enhance patient care and facilitate remote monitoring.
