Sunbelt Staffing is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for a travel contract position in home health care in the charming city of Las Cruces, NM. Requirements:

  • Active New Mexico RN license or ability to obtain licensure in NM
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health care
  • Proficiency with OASIS assessment documentation with a 24-hour turnaround time
  • Reliable transportation and active car insurance
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, emphasizing holistic assessment, patient education, and care coordination.
  • Conduct OASIS assessments with a 24-hour turnaround time, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans and achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Perform skilled nursing interventions, medication management, wound care, and symptom management as prescribed.
  • Utilize telehealth technology and communication tools to enhance patient care and facilitate remote monitoring.
