NEW Full-Time Special Education Teacher Job near Columbus, NC

Sunbelt is currently seeking a Special Education Teachers to join our team in Columbus, NC. The ideal candidates will have experience working with diverse learners and will possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time contracted role for the remainder of the current school year.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
Work collaboratively with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure students' needs are met
Use evidence-based practices to facilitate academic, social, and emotional growth for students with disabilities
Provide direct instruction and support in small group and individual settings
Monitor and track student progress to ensure effective interventions

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
North Carolina (NC) State Special Education Certification K-12
At least 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities
