Now hiring in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area for a Medical Surgical Nurse to join our travel team in Akron, Ohio. This is a 13-week contract assignment working 40-hours per week at one of our partner facilities.
Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
- Provide holistic nursing care to patients in medical-surgical units, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
- Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Medication Administration:
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication protocols.
- Monitor and manage potential side effects, adverse reactions, and interactions.

Wound Care:
- Perform wound care and dressing changes, promoting optimal healing and preventing infections.
- Collaborate with wound care specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
