Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
• Current and valid Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in a healthcare or ambulatory care setting
• Strong communication, organization, and multi-tasking abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Core Responsibilities:

• Support physicians and nursing staff with clinical tasks and patient care
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures, taking vital signs and recorded medical histories
• Assist with sample collection, basic laboratory tests, and administering injections as directed
• Maintain sterile and organized exam rooms, managing stock and supplies
• Provide excellent customer service and patient education
• Accurately document patient encounters in EHR
