Job Description

This opportunity offers a 26-week contract for Mental Health Workers with a focus on inpatient care, based in Concord, NH. The role is ideal for compassionate individuals pursuing a career in mental health or those with experience in group homes or customer service who have a strong desire to support the mental health population. The position requires reliability and strict adherence to attendance policies.

Schedule:

  • Second shift: 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM
  • Five 8-hour shifts weekly (no 12-hour shifts)

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in inpatient nursing or mental health settings
  • Background working with mental health populations or in group homes is highly valued
  • Candidates pursuing a degree in psychology or related fields are encouraged to apply
  • Customer service experience combined with a passion for mental health support
  • No LNA or CNA certification required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate support and assistance to patients within an inpatient mental health environment
  • Foster a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment for individuals with mental health needs
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to promote patient well-being
  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality throughout the assignment
