Sunbelt Staffing is seeking adventurous and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a travel contract position in home health care in the picturesque city of Las Cruces, NM. This is an exciting opportunity for LPNs who are eager to explore the enchanting landscapes of southern New Mexico while providing exceptional care to patients in their homes.

Position Details:

Duration: 8-13 weeks, with potential for extension
Shifts: Variable shifts available
Pay: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications

Requirements:

Active New Mexico LPN license or ability to obtain licensure in NM
Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health care
Proficiency with Homecare Homebase software is preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen

Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate and personalized nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on promoting wellness and independence.
Utilize Homecare Homebase software for accurate documentation and efficient care coordination.
Perform skilled nursing assessments, wound care, medication administration, and other nursing interventions as prescribed.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and caregivers on health management strategies and resources to enhance self-care and quality of life.
