Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for dynamic professionals with experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician to play an essential role in laboratory diagnostics. This contract position features a unique 7on/7off schedule, ideal for those seeking an efficient work-life balance while making a significant contribution to patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7 days on, 7 days off
  • 10-hour night shifts
  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
  • Friday & Saturday: 10:00 PM 8:00 AM
  • Thursday serves as the week ending

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician (ASCP or equivalent preferred)
  • Proven experience in clinical laboratory testing in a high-volume setting
  • Excellent understanding of laboratory safety practices and quality assurance
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform and analyze diagnostic laboratory tests on patient specimens
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper reporting of test results
  • Adhere rigorously to all quality control and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely delivery of results
  • Participate in routine equipment maintenance and calibration

$1,625 - $1,714/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
