Job Description

Advance your laboratory career by performing critical diagnostic testing and analysis in a fast-paced medical environment. This contract opportunity seeks skilled professionals with expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Hours: 11:00 AM 9:30 PM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or eligibility as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
  • Prior experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Deep understanding of laboratory procedures, regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols
  • Proficient in specimen processing, quality assurance, chemistry, hematology, and microbiology workflows
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic health records
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and specialized laboratory testing with accuracy following established protocols
  • Prepare, process, and analyze patient specimens across multiple departments
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Accurately document results and ensure timely reporting to clinicians
  • Adhere to quality control procedures and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
