Advance your laboratory career by providing essential diagnostic support as a skilled Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. This contract position offers a unique rotating schedule and the opportunity to contribute to patient care through accurate and timely testing in a clinical laboratory setting.

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off, with 10-hour shifts
• Night shift hours:
  • Monday Thursday: 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
  • Friday night into Saturday, Saturday night into Sunday: 10:00 PM 8:00 AM
• Schedule follows a Thursday weekending rotation

Desired Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
• Current national certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) highly preferred
• Experience in diagnostic laboratory settings conducting a range of tests
• Proficient in utilizing laboratory equipment and technology
• Strong attention to detail and high standard of accuracy
• Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and analyze complex laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis
• Maintain rigorous quality control procedures and documentation
• Resolve technical and instrument issues independently during night hours
• Communicate significant findings and abnormal results to clinical staff as needed
• Ensure that all laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and HIPAA guidelines at all times
• Contribute to a collaborative environment facilitating efficient workflow

$1,625 - $1,714/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
