Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
- Position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
- Prepare sterile fields and maintain a sterile environment.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to their needs.
- Document procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or a Cardiovascular Technologist.
- Current New Jersey Radiographic Licensure (R.T.)
- ARRT certification in Interventional Radiology (preferred).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or an accredited agency.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Shift:
- 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- On-call rotation required (schedule to be discussed)
