A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Technologist with expertise in X-ray imaging to join a busy hospital setting in Winston-Salem, NC. This contract position offers hands-on experience in a Level II trauma center equipped with advanced imaging technology, supporting multiple high-acuity clinical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging exams including portable X-rays, fluoroscopy, and operating room imaging.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in trauma, emergency, NICU, OR, and endoscopy environments.
- Utilize and maintain a variety of imaging equipment (Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, Phillips, GE OEC c-arms, and O-arm).
- Execute fluoroscopic procedures such as lumbar punctures, myelograms, swallowing studies, and more.
- Document and manage imaging data accurately, employing EPIC and PACS systems.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and hospital policies regarding patient care and scheduling.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year imaging experience; 2 years strongly preferred.
- Current BLS and ARRT certifications.
- Proficiency with PACS, portable imaging, C-arm, and contrast studies.
- Experience with EPIC system; Interlad experience is advantageous.
- Prior exposure to OR and fluoroscopic procedures required.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong reliability with an understanding of strict attendance policies.
Schedule:
- Night shifts including a combination of 9.5 and 12-hour blocks covering Friday through Sunday evenings/nights.
