Bring your expertise in diagnostic imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment, providing critical support as an X-ray Technologist. In this contract opportunity, youll operate state-of-the-art X-ray equipment to deliver high-quality images that aid in accurate diagnosis and patient care. This vital role offers hands-on involvement in patient preparation, imaging, and safety protocols alongside dedicated clinical professionals for a duration of 13 weeks.
Schedule:
- Two 10-hour shifts weekly
- Option 1: Thursday and Friday, 8:30pm 6:30am
- Option 2: Friday and Saturday, 8:30pm 6:30am
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an X-ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in a healthcare setting
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT certification and applicable state licensure
- Familiarity with digital imaging technology and PACS systems
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to protocols
- Adhere to all radiology safety regulations and infection control procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
