Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, ensuring accurate positioning and exposure.
• Prepare and assist patients throughout the imaging process, maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety procedures and infection control standards.
• Accurately document and maintain patient records, test results, and equipment logs.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for accurate image interpretation.
• Support other departments as needed to ensure optimal workflow and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• State license to practice in Illinois (if applicable).
• Previous experience working as an X-ray Tech or Radiologic Technologist in a medical setting.
• Proficiency in operating X-ray imaging equipment and familiarity with digital imaging software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
