Job Description

A healthcare facility in New Castle, CO, is seeking a skilled Rad Tech/CT Tech for a full-time contract position. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment providing a wide range of radiology diagnostic imaging services.

Location:
New Castle, CO, nestled in a scenic area known for its natural beauty and outdoor recreational activities, offers a great balance between professional opportunity and quality of life. Residents enjoy access to hiking, skiing, and a welcoming community atmosphere.

Schedule:

  • Friday to Monday
  • Four 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Call shifts as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a 50/50 mix of X-ray and CT imaging procedures
  • Proficiently conduct fluoroscopy, operating room imaging, orthopedic imaging, and general radiography
  • Provide diagnostic imaging for multiple departments, including oncology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, family practice, internal medicine, urology, womens health, and pediatrics
  • Ensure high-quality imaging with attention to safety protocols and patient care in a sometimes fast-paced clinical setting
  • Work autonomously and confidently, maintaining excellent communication with medical teams

Qualifications:

  • ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple imaging modalities including fluoroscopy and CT scans
  • Experience working in a hospital environment with diverse patient populations

This contract position requires candidates to reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
