Job Description
Seeking a skilled professional to perform diagnostic X-ray imaging within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to use your expertise in delivering high-quality radiologic services to patients in a supportive team atmosphere.
Schedule:
- Two 10-hour shifts per week
- Choice of shifts:
- Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30 pm 6:30 am
- Fridays and Saturdays, 8:30 pm 6:30 am
Assignment length: 13 weeks
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Technologist program
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography
- Active state license as required
- Recent experience operating X-ray equipment in a healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for patient care and team collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes
- Operate and maintain X-ray and related imaging equipment
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results
- Adhere to all infection control and safety procedures
- Provide clear communication with medical staff regarding findings and workflow
