Job Description

Bring your imaging expertise to a vital healthcare setting, where youll provide high-quality diagnostic X-ray services as an essential member of the radiology team. This contract opportunity offers a focused, supportive environment with multiple scheduling options tailored to fit your availability.

Schedule Options

  • Two shifts per week
  • Thursdays and Fridays, 8:30 PM 6:30 AM
  • OR Fridays and Saturdays, 8:30 PM 6:30 AM
  • 13-week assignment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current certification or registration as an X-ray Tech / Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Valid state license, if required
  • Strong proficiency in operating imaging equipment and performing accurate X-ray studies
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
  • Ability to prioritize safety protocols and protect patient confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Produce clear, diagnostic-quality X-ray images in accordance with physician requests and facility standards
  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide information to ensure their comfort and cooperation
  • Adhere to safety measures, including radiation protection practices
  • Review images for quality, completeness, and accuracy before release to providers
  • Maintain accurate patient records and equipment logs
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized imaging environment
