Job Description

Schedule:

  • Monday Thursday
  • 9:00 PM 6:30 AM

Contract Duration:

  • 13 weeks

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent
  • Valid state license to practice as an X-ray technologist, if required
  • Proven experience operating X-ray and imaging equipment in a clinical or hospital environment
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, safety, and patient positioning
  • Ability to accurately document results and maintain electronic health records
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray exams with precision and attention to patient safety protocols
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to standard procedures and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality images are produced for diagnostic interpretation
  • Adhere to department guidelines for infection control, privacy, and documentation
  • Assist with transporting patients, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining clean workspaces
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and continue professional development
