This 13-week travel assignment offers a structured Monday to Friday schedule:
- 8-hour shifts, 3:00pm to 11:30pm
- 40 hours per week
This role focuses on performing CT procedures using a Toshiba Aquilon 64-slice scanner under the guidance of radiology leadership. You'll be responsible for positioning and instructing patients, operating specialized equipment, ensuring the accuracy of imaging, and consistently delivering safe, high-quality patient care. There are opportunities for professional growth as you collaborate with diverse healthcare teams and are exposed to varying clinical and leadership procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology program; ARRT certification required
- Proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy
- Minimum two years' diagnostic experience preferred
- Ability to meet moderate to heavy physical demands including lifting, transferring, and transporting patients and equipment
- Strong manual dexterity, stamina, and computer skills
- Demonstrated judgment and decision-making in radiology settings
- Commitment to top-tier patient care and service standards per established policy
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures, including those of an invasive nature
- Accurately position patients and ensure correct labeling of images
- Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment
- Collaborate with radiology and clinical staff to enhance patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call duties as needed
