Job Description
Seeking an experienced professional with expertise in Imaging X-ray to provide high-quality radiologic technologist services within a clinical setting. This role offers the opportunity to deliver diagnostic imaging support, working directly with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams for a duration of 13 weeks.
Schedule/Hours:
- Two 10-hour shifts per week
- Choose between: Thursday and Friday, 8:30 pm 6:30 am Friday and Saturday, 8:30 pm 6:30 am
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist
- Valid ARRT registration (or equivalent state licensure)
- Clinical experience performing routine and specialized X-ray procedures
- Proficiency in radiation safety and best practices
- Ability to position patients, operate imaging equipment, and deliver accurate results
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Commitment to maintaining sterility, safety protocols, and equipment standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic X-ray exams as ordered by physicians
- Prepare patients, ensure comfort, and explain procedures clearly
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment; perform quality control checks
- Accurately document records and update imaging logs in the hospital system
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure precise diagnostics
- Monitor supplies and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations
