Job Description

Schedule:

  • 24 hours per week, Part Time
  • Alternating weeks: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (7:00 am 3:30 pm) one week; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (7:00 am 3:30 pm) the next

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (R) certification required
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience operating digital X-ray equipment and performing a variety of radiologic examinations
  • Excellent patient-focused communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and specialized X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and standardized procedures
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and proper alignment for optimal imaging results
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain detailed imaging records within electronic health systems
  • Operate radiology equipment following regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
  • Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and address any concerns or questions
  • Assist with maintaining supplies and the cleanliness of imaging suites
