Job Description

Step into an essential role supporting patient diagnosis and care as a skilled Imaging professional specializing in X-ray technology. This part-time contract opportunity offers consistent hours and a stable, organized schedule tailored for those seeking work-life balance in a hospital environment.

Schedule:

  • Part-time: 24 hours per week
  • Rotating weeksWeek one: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (7:00 am 3:30 pm); Week two: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (7:00 am 3:30 pm)

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT (R) certification essential for radiologic technologists
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Prior experience operating X-ray equipment and managing imaging procedures in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Strong technical proficiency with radiographic equipment, image capture, and adherence to safety codes
  • Attention to detail and high standards for image quality and patient care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients as ordered by medical providers
  • Prepare examination rooms and maintain imaging equipment according to safety and infection-control protocols
  • Accurately position patients and explain procedures to ensure optimal imaging and comfort
  • Review, process, and submit images using appropriate digital systems for evaluation by radiologists
  • Maintain up-to-date records of patient procedures and comply with documentation standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare staff to support effective patient care delivery
