Job Description

A respected healthcare facility is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist with strong imaging expertise to support their patient care team. The contract position offers the opportunity to utilize advanced radiologic techniques in a collaborative clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12 hour shifts
  • ThursdaySaturday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
  • State licensure for radiologic technology
  • Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Thorough understanding of safety protocols and radiation protection measures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
  • 1+ years of recent experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging setting preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for X-ray exams, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Accurately operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic results
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other medical staff
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry into the facilitys systems
  • Monitor equipment functionality and follow all safety and infection control standards
  • Educate patients about procedures and respond to any questions or concerns
  • Assist with quality assurance activities and adhere to facility protocols
