Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, valid registration as an X-ray Tech / Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent certification required)
- State licensure as required by regulatory standards
- Demonstrated experience operating imaging and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and proper patient positioning
- Excellent communication skills and respectful bedside manner
- Ability to adapt to changing workflow and urgent requests
Schedule/Hours:
- Details regarding work shifts and scheduled hours will be discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures according to provider orders and within best-practice guidelines
- Preparing patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort and privacy
- Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in compliance with safety and quality standards
- Collaborating with radiologists and other clinical staff to deliver clear, concise images for interpretation
- Accurately documenting imaging results and maintaining thorough patient records
- Maintaining a clean, organized work area in compliance with infection prevention protocols
