This contract position provides substantial exposure to a Level II trauma center, offering a diverse case mix and a hands-on role with advanced equipment. The ideal candidate excels in high-volume, high-acuity settings and demonstrates versatility in various imaging procedures.

Schedule:

• 33.5-hour workweek
• One shift: Friday, 8:00pm5:30am (9.5 hours)
• Two shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00pm7:30am (12 hours each)
• Night shifts required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of X-ray imaging experience (2+ years strongly preferred)
• Comfort with first-time travelers
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Proficiency with PACS, portable X-ray, C-Arm, and contrast procedures
• Hands-on experience with OR imaging and fluoroscopy (lumbar punctures, myelograms, esophagrams, etc.)
• Prior exposure to Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, Phillips, and GE OEC/ O-arm equipment
• EPIC workflow proficiency required; Interlad software experience preferred
• Solid organizational skills to manage 250-300+ exams/day, including rapid-response imaging

Responsibilities:

• Provide imaging support in trauma, emergency, operating room, endoscopy, NICU, and outpatient settings
• Operate a variety of advanced imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform a full range of studies, including portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures
• Respond to urgent requests throughout a large, central department
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care in high-volume, centralized hospital settings
